Noura Masri, one of the rising stars in art, has done wonderful so far with her creative work, thanks to Hala for the info.

Noura studied Graphic Design in AUD, but her love with Fine Arts (painting in particular) was born ever since she was a young girl. She is a self-taught artist, discovering her own idividual and unique style by experimenting. Most, if not all, of her paintings are acrylics paints. She has done a lot of exhibitions in the UAE (Dubai in particular), but her first ever solo exhibition was in May 2001. She is a beautiful 25 year old Jordanian girl born and raised in Dubai. She is also starting to getting invitations from around the world to start exhibiting.

Journey to the past and relive the fabulous fifties with this vintage inspired Retro Payphone. This delightful gadget comes in a fun shade of bubble gum pink and is perfect for teenagers, or adults looking to add a bit of nostalgia in their lives. The phone is styled after the iconic 1950’s and features a rotary look but incorporates touch tone dialing for easy convenience. An added bonus? The snazzy replica doubles as a piggy bank. Fool your friends by having them place money in the coin slot – calls are entirely free to place. To retrieve your money, simply use the key that is included. The user friendly phone also comes with an extra long 34 inch cord for comfortable walking and talking. Sure to impress, use this nifty invention as a quirky conversation piece or a clever old school addition to your abode.

Tjep.’s contribution to the project Smart Deco, started with an architectural experiment realized for the Dutch Architectural Institute in 2005 called House of Textures. I loved the work they’ve done on this magnificent chair of textures!

What Goes Around!

Talasim

I always wanted to have my own album of hilarious slogans stuck on taxis and trucks, and even silly billboards around Amman! I guess Talasim did it for me.

Talasim revolves around the idea of funny advertising or what we call “Loud calls for attention!”. It started as a simple idea presented in a personal blog, then it grew into becoming Talasim.com . Talasim is updated daily now with submissions of its visitors, they’re the capturers of its unusual content.
Enjoy the magic.

Love Jordan

Terhaal

Perhaps it would be a good start for my blog to begin it with the most thing i love and belong to, Jordan.

Check out this cool website for eco-adventures in Jordan, you’ll be amazed how much you can do and enjoy here! Terhaal is a Jordanian ecoadventure operator specialized in offering enchanting green holidays and adventure tours in Jordan. Check out the trips they designed.

Its worth mentioning that the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) is proud to announce that Petra is among the finalists in the race to become part of the new Seven Wonders of the World. With its giant red mountains and vast mausoleums, Petra is testament of the greatest wonders ever wrought by Nature and Man. It is already often described as the eighth wonder of the ancient world because this vast and unique city is completely carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans more than 2000 years ago.
