Captain Abu Raed
The first Jordanian feature film in over 50 years, Captain Abu Raed brings together a cast and crew of over 100 people from Jordan and around the world to tell the story of the special airport janitor, Abu Raed. Set in the hills of Amman, Jordan, this is a story of friendship, unconditional love, and overcoming adversity. The feature debut of young Jordanian writer/director, Amin Matalqa, the film stars veteran Jordanian/British actor Nadim Sawalha (Syriana, The Nativity Story) and Rana Sultan (Yis’ed Sabahak).
